Key Holding Service

Send us your key. We'll keep it until your time is up.

Our Key Holding Service lets you hand any key over to Facility 22 for a period you choose, up to one year. Once it's in our custody, it stays there until your release date. No early returns, no matter how nicely you ask (or how much you beg).

Choose your sentence

• Start at court: Your sentence begins during one of our mock court trials. Hand your key over in person at the start of your role-play, or mail it to us ahead of time.
• Release at court: Mail your key to us early and collect your key in person at the end of one of our mock court trials.
• Custom dates: Pick any start and end date you want, whether it's tied to a role-play or not.

The longest we'll hold a key is one year. If you want a longer sentence, you'll need to renew the service. If you don't renew, we'll mail your key back when the year is up.

How it works

1. Purchase: Check out here.
2. Check your email: We'll send instructions for getting your key to us.
3. Fill out the form: Tell us your contact email, the date of the court event your sentence starts at (if you're starting at court), your end date or whether it should be released at court, and the address we should mail your key back to. If your address changes, be sure to tell us before your key is released.
4. Send your key: Mail it to us, or hand it over at the start of your role-play if you're starting at court. Your sentence begins on your chosen start date, or during court.
5. Release: If you chose release at court, we hand your key back at the end of court. Otherwise, we mail it to you on your release date with tracking, and we pay the return postage.

Before you send

• Please don't send keys you can't live without.
• By sending a key, you confirm you're authorized to hand it over to us.

The fine print

Once your key is in our hands, begging, bargaining, and sob stories won't get it back early. The only exception is a true emergency, and we'll need proof. Choose your dates carefully, because the sentence you pick is the sentence you serve.
